On my second flight out of Haneda, I went for something rather different. With flights departing Osaka, Haneda and Narita, passengers can pay extra and order what's called 'paid exclusive dining'. It is effectively a business class meal, but it worth the money. With 36AUD, I'm enjoying some juicy Wagyu beef sukiyaki with dessert presented by Pierre Herme Paris, which was a kind of fancy chocolate mousse with various toppings.

Transiting at Haneda 在羽田转机
Haneda Airport has 3 terminals and because of coronavirus, passengers couldn't travel across different terminals. Transitting passengers therefore have to stay within the terminal where their flight would depart from.
羽田机场有3个客运大楼,但因为疫情关系,乘客不可以随意在不同客运大楼之间走动。因此,转机乘客只可以在航班起飞的客运大楼里面逗留。
As my subsequent flight departed from terminal 3, I had to stay in there for 16 hours.

There's a observation deck on the landside (before security) but as mentioned before, its not accessible by transitting passengers due to the pandemic. However, planespotting is possible on the airside (gates), with a few constraints.

There are 2 layers of windows separating the arrival floor and departure floor. Hence, reflection would be a problem during early morning and late afternoon when the sun is relatively low on the horizon. The best time for planespotting without a huge impact of reflection is late morning until before the sun starts to set.
